Join Lappin Foundation and organizations across the North Shore to give back to our community in a meaningful way. Join us for one, two or all of the projects! Drop in any time at any of these sites across the North Shore

9-11:30 a.m.: “Back to school” clothing drive for Cradles to Crayons
Temple Emanu-El, Marblehead

Registration not necessary, as this is clothing drop off anytime in the hours specified.

If you have clothes but can’t make the drop off on Sept. 18, please contact 781-631-9300.

9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Make toiletry bags for Haven From Hunger
Temple Ner Tamid, Peabody

Toiletries can be dropped off from Sept. 1-18. Items needed include toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, feminine products, razors and shaving cream.

10-11 a.m.: Create cards for the residents at Chelsea Jewish Lifecare
North Suburban JCC, Peabody

10-11:30 a.m.: Make the environment a better place through bee keeping and pollinator gardens
Congregation Shirat Hayam, Swampscott

11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Drop off dinner bags for My Brother’s Table
Temple Sinai, Marblehead

Each decorated brown paper bag should include one of the following: juice box, pre-packaged snack (raisins, chips, cookies, etc.), plastic fork and knife, napkin. MBT adds the meal.

Registration not necessary, as this is a drop-off anytime in the hours specified.

12:30-1:30 p.m.: Reverse tashlich beach cleanup
Temple Ahavat Achim, Gloucester

(Tashlich is the act of casting off one’s sins around the High Holidays by throwing bread into moving water.)

1-2 p.m.: Make cookies for Lifebridge North Shore and Plummer Youth Promise
Epstein Hillel School, Marblehead

3-5 p.m.: Make Rosh Hashanah New Year cards
Congregation Ahavas Achim, Newburyport
