Parents and Jewish teens are invited to join the Temple Beth Sholom community for a bring-your-own Shabbat picnic dinner, book sale and signing with author Haley Neil.

Once More With Chutzpah” is a moving young adult debut about a girl who grapples with questions of her Jewish identity, mental health struggles and sexuality while on a temple exchange trip through Israel.

We’ll be reading the book over the summer and discussing it with the author in the fall! Books are available for sale through Wellesley Books.

Open to all teens and parents. Contact Rabbi Allison Poirier with any questions.

This opportunity is part of a series focused on teen mental health and wellness, powered by Temple Beth Sholom in Framingham in partnership and with support from Jewish Teen Initiative at CJP and JFS Metrowest.
