Join us for a lowkey convo where we’ll discuss what’s happening in our communities right now and explore some of the ways in which we can educate ourselves, advocate and create opportunities for conversation around combating antisemitism.

Moderated by the JTI Peer Leadership Fellows and members of the Teen Antisemitism Task Force, we’ll be joined by Dr. Samantha Vinokor-Meinrath of The Jewish Education Project to break down the current climate of antisemitism, misinformation on social media and what we can do to stand up and speak out.

All Jewish teens in grades 8-12 are encouraged to join. This conversation is a space for teens and will not be recorded. Adults: If you are interested in spaces like this for yourselves, please contact our partners at TribeTalk or The Lappin Foundation to learn more. Contact Lucy NewAidan New or Brett Lubarsky with any questions or for additional information.

Dr. Samantha Vinokor-Meinrath is the senior director of knowledge, ideas and learning at the Jewish Education Project. A lifelong Jewish educator and learner, Samantha is passionate about connecting with Jewish teens and is on a mission to inspire conversations that move Jewish journeys forward. Samantha is an expert on antisemitism, Israel education and Jewish identity. She is an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh, Jewish Theological Seminary and Gratz College, and is the author of the forthcoming book, “#antisemitism: Coming of Age During the Resurgence of Hate.” An award-winning educator, Samantha lives in Westchester, N.Y., with her husband and two beloved rescue dogs.

This program is part of a series of opportunities for Jewish teens to connect around current events and topics powered by Jewish Teen Initiative at CJP, Lappin Foundation, Tribe Talk, Teen Antisemitism Task Force and The Jewish Education Project, in partnership with Diller Teen Fellows Boston, StandWithUs High School, BBYO New England Region, NFTY Northeast and Hebrew College Teen Learning.
