Teens in grades 8-12 are now invited to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a youth service trip to New Orleans. The service trip, organized by J-LOFT and Volunteer Ventures, will take place during Spring Break 2023: April 16-21. It is open to all teens in grades 8-12, as long as they turn 14 by the time of the trip. We are also looking for several parent chaperones.

We will fly to New Orleans on Sunday, settle in and on Monday begin a week of “voluntourism”—volunteering and touring beautiful New Orleans.

In NOLA, our teens and chaperones will team up with an organization called Youth Rebuilding New Orleans, which will train and guide us through the projects we will be working on.

Due to generous funding by CJP, the total cost of the trip, including flights, accommodation, food and ground transportation, will be about $750 per participant and $500 per chaperone, with additional financial aid available.
