Please join us to learn some ways to stay centered in times when there is so much uncertainty. We will learn practical ways to calm our nervous system and our fear response through self-regulation techniques and mindfulness.

We will also discuss the physiology of stress and how to regulate it. We will explore the benefits and perils of mindfulness, weaving Eastern wisdom with science and practice. We will also present specific techniques to help our children stay grounded and regulated.

Maya Amos is a licensed somatic psychotherapist who specializes in stress and regulation of the nervous system. Her core practice centers on cultivating and strengthening the connection between mind and body. She has a private practice in Austin, Texas.
