Join Gateways: Access to Jewish Education as we kick off Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month (JDAIM) with the third event of our ongoing speaker series on girls’ mental health and wellness.

This informative webinar will give parents and educators strategies to recognize the signs and symptoms of eating disorders and to support children and teens who exhibit them. Led by experienced psychologist and professor Dr. Allyson Cherkasky and featuring a young woman who will share her experience living with an eating disorder, the presentation will focus on how adults can help young people harness their power to maintain healthy relationships with their bodies and food.

Dr. Cherkasky’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience, moderated by psychologist Dr. Rachel Schein.

This speaker series is sponsored by The Miriam Fund of CJP.
