The Massachusetts Antisemitism Synagogue Task Force (MAST) is honored to present Lori Lowenthal Marcus, Esquire, as our September speaker.
Lori Lowenthal Marcus is the legal director of The Deborah Project, a public interest law firm asserting and defending the civil rights of Jews facing discrimination in education in K-12 schools and college campuses throughout the United States.
Lori will be sharing information on the latest legal advances in the fight against antisemitism in education, as well as how the surge in antisemitism has mutated over the past year, since October 7. She’ll talk about the difference in treatment of antisemitism versus discrimination against other minorities by school authorities; the leading actors in the enormous growth of antisemitism and why they remain immune—thus far—from attack; and the do’s and don’ts of fighting antisemitism.
If you have questions for Lori, please email mast1776@myyahoo.com.
