Parents are navigating a complete unknown world for their teens. Lives and routines have changed drastically, from SATs not taken, graduations and other ceremonies canceled, driver education delayed and more.

Even before COVID-19, the forecast for young adult mental health was daunting: one out of every six youth struggles with a mental health disorder each year, stress and anxiety are on the rise and suicide and accidental drug overdose are some of the leading causes of death.

Join us on this webinar to learn about how you as a parent can understand teen mental health in the context of the world today. What are the mental health issues you may see in your teens and how can you help and support them in navigating an unfamiliar world?

Led by The Jed Foundation, the nation’s leading nonprofit working to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for teens and young adults, we’ll facilitate a discussion about mental health issues among young people and talk about how you can identify warning signs, offer support and effectively help your teen.
