For Your Teens

  • For Goodness Bake Teen Community Service Day (Congregation Shirat Hayam and Jewish Teen Initiative at CJP): Sunday, Nov. 20, 2-5 p.m. Help spread light to others in the community and join other #JewishBostonTeens to bake pies and create cards for local service organizations.
  • JF&CS TeenSafe is looking for high school students who are excited about building a healthier, safer and more just community, all while earning community service hours and strengthening their leadership and communication skills along the way! Contact to learn more.
  • Veterans Day Commemoration Honoring Jewish Veterans (The Lappin Foundation): Thursday, Nov. 10, 7:30-8:30 p.m. The community is invited to our virtual Veterans Day commemoration as we honor and thank our veterans. Our guest speaker will be Congressman Jake Auchincloss, Marine veteran.
  • #antisemitism: Coming of Age During the Resurgence of Hate (The Lappin Foundation): Tuesday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m. Teens, parents and community members are invited to join us for an important conversation about antisemitism with author of “#antisemitism: Coming of Age during the Resurgence of Hate,” Samantha A. Vinokor-Meinrath. Learn more about antisemitism and ways to effectively respond to it.
  • 2023 Youth to Israel (Y2I) Informational Meeting (The Lappin Foundation): Sunday, Nov. 6, 7-8 p.m. The Robert I. Lappin Youth to Israel Adventure, Y2I, is a life-changing Israel experience for Jewish teens, who live in, or are a member of a synagogue/temple in any of the 30 cities or towns in the Lappin Foundation’s service area, or who attend Camp Bauercrest. A limited number of spots are available to Jewish teens from CJP’s service area.
  • Tzelem Boston (Moving Traditions and The Tent at Temple Israel): Tzelem is a monthly group for trans, nonbinary, gender expansive, and LGBTQ+ Jewish teens. Tzelem offers a safe, supportive space to make new friends and explore relevant topics. For LGBTQ+ Teens: Begins Sunday, Nov. 20. For Trans/Nonbinary Teens: Begins Sunday, Nov. 27.
