Join teens from throughout the North Shore community as we come together for a day of virtual community and action! Teen leaders from the broader North Shore Jewish community, along with teen professionals, have taken this annual tradition to new heights during these unprecedented times.

This year’s teen-led service and awareness projects include:

  • Foster Care Education and Appreciation: Learn about the importance of supporting the foster care system and decorate a flowerpot that will be given to a local foster care family as a gesture of appreciation, in partnership with Plummer Youth Promise.
  • Supporting the Older Adult Community: Create homemade greeting cards for older adult clients of Jewish Family & Children’s Service and learn about mental health challenges faced by older community members.
  • Mental Health Education and Advocacy: Learn new approaches to self-care and how you can reduce the stigmas around mental health and wellness amongst teens, in partnership with The Blue Dove Foundation.
  • Combatting Antisemitism and Creating Messages of Hope: Learn what antisemitism is and how you can stand up and speak out against it, in partnership with StandWithUs. Create a mural that will be displayed for the community at Congregation Shirat Hayam.
  • Taking Action Against Climate Change: Interested in helping to combat ocean pollution and reduce waste? Learn how to keep our recycling bins and shores clean. Your own home recycling bin will be the source of materials to create awareness-raising art.
