As LGBTQ teens, friendship and chosen family can be a key part of your support system. Chosen family can bring us joy, playfulness, affirmation and love. Like any relationships, friendships also need to be nourished and negotiated to make sure they are supportive and healthy for all. Join us for an interactive session on building healthy non-romantic relationships.

This session will be based on Moving Traditions teen groups, Rosh Hodesh for teen girls, Shevet for teen boys and Tzelem for transgender, nonbinary, gender fluid and gender-questioning teens, which help teens gain skills around things that really matter, like how to have healthy conflict, stay sane during stressful times, get engaged around social justice issues and make good decisions around dating and sex.

This program is only for LGBTQ Jewish teens ages 13-19.
