In today’s climate, it is essential to have trained educators and engagement professionals providing tools and support to Jewish students. In order to accomplish this, educators working on the front lines must possess rich knowledge and tools for bringing Israel into the hearts and minds of Jewish youth and young adults.
This five-session series from Combined Jewish Philanthropies and The iCenter presents a pivotal opportunity to fulfill pressing needs within the Jewish educational landscape in Boston.
Session 4: Values in Tension in Today’s World
The recent tragic events in Israeli society, coupled with the concerning rise in antisemitic rhetoric globally, underscore the pressing need for nuanced dialogue. In this session with The iCenter, we’ll delve into shared values, exploring their personal significance and the tensions they entail. Together we will gain new awareness around diverse narratives, acknowledging that while ideological disparities exist, common ground can be discovered.
