Seven communities in Metrowest are collaborating to form a new high school initiative between and among our congregations. Building upon the success of our HiBuR collaboration, we invite students from around the region to learn and share social opportunities together.
A regional high school experience in Metrowest has been a long time in the making, and has become especially relevant in this moment of virtual learning. This collaborative will respond to our changing world in a way that brings the regional Jewish community together and also helps us shoulder the shared responsibility of nurturing our students.
Participants of J-LOFT will benefit by expanding their social circles by getting to know other teens from the area and expanding their Jewish horizons by engaging with and learning from clergy and educators from an assembly of Conservative, Reform and independent congregations.
All sessions will begin online, with the hopes of resuming in person in the near future.
