BBYO provides opportunities for Jewish youth to develop leadership potential and Jewish identity. It is the leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. With a network of hundreds of chapters across North America and in 42 countries around the world, BBYO reaches over 80,000 teens annually and serves as the Jewish community’s largest and most valuable platform for delivering fun, meaningful and affordable experiences that inspire a lasting connection to the Jewish people.
The Diller Teen Fellowship is an international partnership that inspires and empowers Jewish teens to be active, effective leaders. The 12-month program offers a select group of 10th and 11th graders the opportunity to focus on leadership training, Tikkun Olam, Jewish identity and a connection to Israel and Jewish peoplehood.
One in three teens in the U.S. is a victim of physical, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner. TeenSafe, an initiative of Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s Journey to Safety program, seeks to change that statistic by helping teens and the adults in their lives develop the language and tools they need to recognize abuse in a dating relationship and how to respond if they see, hear about or experience it.
Keshet works for the full equality of all LGBTQ Jews and our families in Jewish life. We strengthen Jewish communities; equip Jewish organizations with the skills and knowledge to build LGBTQ-affirming communities; create spaces in which all queer Jewish youth feel seen and valued; and advance LGBTQ rights nationwide.
New England Yachad is a thriving Jewish communal organization for individuals with disabilities and special needs of all abilities, ages and Jewish denominations. Our goals include recruiting peer participants, including high schoolers, who share values of inclusion; provide family and sibling support services; and infuse Jewish content into programs and celebrate Jewish holidays with a community of friends and with Jewish educators.
NFTY in Israel is the formative travel experience for teens seeking a hands-on, educational, fun summer. Teens travel through Israel, following a chronological curriculum that brings our history to life. Our trips instill a deep connection to Israel and the Jewish people, develop a sense of pride in Jewish identity and heritage and inspire a desire to live a meaningful and engaged Jewish life.
NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism. NFTY’s Northeast Region includes Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County), Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, upstate New York and Montreal, Canada.
