It’s a time to celebrate Israel and to recognize how two different people with completely different backgrounds can end up defending the same country. Two Israelis, one native to Israel and one transplant by way of America via Russian parents, will share their experiences serving in the Israel Defense Forces.

Along the way, we will discover what they learned about themselves, Israel and the Israeli-Arab conflict, and how those experiences shaped how they educate about Israel today.
