There are so many places that would tell you “thank you” if you make some masks for them! Hospitals probably won’t be able to accept them, but places like nursing homes, where one mask is given for a three-day period, certainly would.

Learn how to sew masks by hand or with a sewing machine. Then, if you would like to volunteer and make some masks for Jookender, which will be donating them, you’ll receive reimbursement for the materials used.

The teacher will be using Russian, English and Hebrew to ensure everyone understands the instructions for making the masks.

For the class, bring two cotton cloths (15×15 inches), scissors, a sewing machine with thread (if you have one) or a needle with thread for hand-sewing. Adults and children 10+ are welcome to participate.
