Join us for a one-day bus tour to Salem and learn everything about the history and culture of the Massachusetts town, founded by Puritans four years before the founding of Boston, and make the comparison to what happened to Jewish people during different periods of history.

The bus will board in Framingham in the Shopper’s World Plaza by Barnes & Noble, or at Peabody at the Northshore Mall near Barnes & Noble.

Once in Salem, we will be visiting the Pirate Museum to learn about the vibrant piracy history of Salem and its famous female pirate; The Salem Witch Museum to learn about the 1692 witch trials; The House of Seven Gables to immerse into 1692 reality; and the Winter Island Park to climb, walk and enjoy beautiful views with an old lighthouse.

We are scheduled to be back in Framingham by 6 p.m. Those who board in Peabody should get back to Peabody around 5-5:15 p.m.

We will have water and snacks on the bus, but lunch is on your own. There will be plenty of time for lunch and souvenirs, so you can enjoy some independence from Jookender.

Well-behaving teens (under parents’ responsibility) may join without parents. Otherwise, parents are required to accompany their kids. This event is focused on pre-teens and teens, but everyone is welcome. We ask you not to bring kids under 6 years of age. The bus is not equipped with a bathroom.

All tours are in English, but there are audio guides in Russian in many museums as well. There are 48 seats on the bus, so hurry up! It’s the greatest time of the year to visit Salem, and you don’t need to worry about parking.
