Kick off the new year by helping to spread some love in our community! Jewish teens from throughout Greater Boston are coming together for a morning of hands-on projects supporting The Woodrow Wilson School in Framingham. Statistically, the Wilson School reports having a student population that is 80% immigrant with another 80% of the student body qualifying for free and reduced meals. In spite of some of the challenges the student body faces, a school is a place of hope and joy, where children can learn and feel safe.

Come roll up your sleeves and join Jewish Teen Initiative and Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, along with area synagogues and youth-serving organizations, as we create, design and organize projects supporting the students, teachers and families of the Wilson School.

This event is open to pre-teens and teens in grades 6-12. Adult volunteers welcome! Bring your school community service hours forms; we’re happy to sign them!

Contact Dana Roth, senior program director, at dana@jtiboston.org with questions and for information about organizational collaboration and sponsorship for this event.

Gratitude to our friends at Temple Beth Am of Framingham for hosting this year’s event, and to our partners at The Shapiro Foundation and Combined Jewish Philanthropies for making our work possible.
